Do you have an interest in Climate Technology? We have a fantastic opportunity to work for a company committed to addressing global climate change, working in a key role within their HSEQ function. Reporting to the HSEQ Manager and working across all functions of the business, you will be responsible for providing administrative support on all aspects of health, safety, environment and quality.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience within an HSEQ role. With excellent communication skills, you will need to be dynamic and adaptable with a positive attitude. You will be organised and able to meet multiple deadlines, whilst paying attention to detail.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a full-time role to start immediately, and there is a possibility of transitioning to a permanent contract for the right candidate. The role is 100% office based, with free parking and the site is easily accessible via public transport.
Key Duties
- Conduct Internal Audits
- Conduct First Aid Box and Site Inspections
- Coordinate monthly/quarterly/annual inspections
- Maintain document register and ensure that documents are reviewed
- Maintain Actions Log
- Maintain Chemicals Register, obtain MSDS, develop and review COSHH assessments
- Maintain Waterlog Book (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual tasks)
- Maintain Training Register and Training Matrix
- Attend SHE Committee meetings
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a HSEQ role
- Drafting management system documents and SOPs
- Conducting inspections, writing up reports and ensuring actions are closed out
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to plan your own work, work on your own initiative and meet deadlines
- Dynamic, adaptable and positive attitude
- A keen attention to detail
Experience of the following would be advantageous:
- Knowledge of a management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001)
- Internal management system auditing
- COSHH assessments
