Job description

Outdoor Pursuits is the overarching name given to the outdoor education and experiences which are offered at Princethorpe that take place in the natural environment. These activities can be part of the academic curriculum or outside of formal lesson time, on the College grounds or using the natural environment within the British Isles and internationally to create opportunities to appreciate, enjoy and explore the great outdoors.

We would welcome applications from professionals with relevant teaching or instructing experience, in particular individuals who have the knowledge and passion for engaging young people and offering a wide range of outdoor experiences. We are interested in candidates with a vision and passion for Outdoor Pursuits, and how that will move our already strong provision forward.

This role can be a full or part time position and the volume of work varies depending on the phase of the academic year and how the programme is designed. The role will include weekend working for expeditions and opportunities as the programme needs. To be discussed further at interview.

The salary is by negotiation, depending on qualifications and relevant experience. The Princethorpe Foundation salary scale is associated with but some way above national scales.
