Job description

• Position: Africa Travel Sales Agent
• Salary: £24,000 per annum, plus commission on sales
• Location: Haywards Heath
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00am  – 17:30pm plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 09:00am -13:00pm 
• Due to workplace location it is essential to have your own transport

Excellent opportunity for a travel industry based candidate who has experience of selling holiday and travel arrangements to destinations in Africa (Southern and Eastern) or somebody who has travelled throughout Africa.

Duties and experience required:

• Worked in a travel agency or tour operator environment or has travelled around Africa.
• Experience of selling and booking African holiday destinations
• Has a strong customer service orientated background.
• Good confident verbal communication skills and patience in dealing with clients.
• Computer literate
• Comfortable in working as part of a busy reservations / operations department whilst also being confident in using own initiative.
