Job description
Our client, a major IT Consultancy are in need of a VMWare consultant to join on a contract basis support and focus on VMWare related projects and tasks.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Manage any risks and/or issues highlighted as well as be responsible for the implementation of any corrective actions that are required to solve them.
- Hold regular meetings in the week to understand pipeline and the current status of any activities that are deemed to be at risk of being off track as well as how long is left to rectify this.
- Standardise processes and to ensure they are being implemented consistently across the business.
- Responsible for the implementation of the correct and appropriate governance and controls as directed to you by the PMO.
Essential skills:
- Experience working in a similar position (must be focusing on VMWare)
- Hands on experience working with vitalisation tools such as VMWare Cloud foundation, VMWare NSX and more.
