Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for Test Engineers to join our Kilsyth based client.

We're seeking both a Graduate and Experienced Test Engineer who are interested in getting started with an expanding company.

This is a great opportunity for both someone who is experienced in the field, and someone who has not long graduated from College/University.

What's on offer? A full-time permanent position, working 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with flexible start and end times between 07:30 to 08:30 and 16:00 to 17:00 - paid at £28,000 to £32,000 per annum.

As a Test Engineer your role will be around the essential testing of produced goods , with your duties including:

• Testing of PCBA's to customer specifications and preset deadlines
• Bench testing PCBA's
• High voltage testing
• Using test equipment and programming devices
• Recording test data
• Producing test procedures and test hardware

To be successful within this engineer position you will have an HNC, HND or above; with a good understanding of electronics, and the ability to find bugs/faults, and solve any issues. Other key skills and traits include:

• The ability to work well on a team

• Great verbal and written communication skills
