REF: MINISTER OF RELIGION VISA T2- CHILDREN’S PASTOR.

Emmanuel Celebration Centre is looking to recruit an experienced Minister of Religion in the Children’s ministry to join our expanding team here at Emmanuel Celebration Centre.

Duties include:
• Conduct the weekly worship services for the Sunday School.
• Providing religious education for children.
• To regularly communicate with parents, helping them interact with the children’s curriculum and to foster healthy relationships with them.
• Manage all administrative duties related to the Children’s ministry.
• Organizing water baptism and spiritual nurturing of new converts.
• Welcome people passing by when the church is open and be able to pray with them and provide biblical advice
• To ensure that all our safeguarding policies are well implemented, with regular trainings conducted amongst all volunteers.
• conducting prayer meetings
• leading plus managing all the children’s departments.
• Doing home visits to offer pastoral care to the children within our ministry and community.
MINIMUM SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate must be a Christian with Pentecostal background.
• Must have 5 years’ experience working as a Children’s Pastor.
• Must be proficient in running curriculums and teaching children.
• Must be committed to Christ and have a passion for the Children’s Ministry of Emmanuel Celebration Centre.
• Living a Christian life following Christian conduct.
• An understanding of and commitment to the church’s mission statement and core values.
• Must be self -motivated, takes initiative, has creative skills.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
• Ability & available to offer ministry to volunteers, children, and parents.
• Ability to relate to and work with children and adults.
• A willingness to work within church policies. On time for services and rehearsals and other times as required by Pastor.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to speak Kiswahili is also desirable

Terms of appointment:
• There is a probation of six months appointment
• A full enhanced DBS check will be carried out prior to appointment
• Duration of employment: 3-year fixed term contract.
