Page Personnel have partnered with a leading manufacturer based in Southampton who are now looking to add a Transport Supervisor to their team.
Job Description
As Transport Supervisor based in Southampton, you will be reporting into the Operations Manager and can expect to have the following responsibilities:
- Lead the way in workforce engagement and driver management by promoting a people first work environment
- Support the Operations Manager in the day to day management of the compliance side of operation
- Provide on-call Logistic Support services across all depots and fleet support
- Act as an additional first responder to incidents, accidents and spills that require supplementary resources
- Deputise for the Operations Manager during absences.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Transport Supervisor will come with the following skill-set:
- Transport supervisor/management expiring with HGV's/ADR's
- Transport management CPC is highly desired
- Previous transport compliance knowledge is essential
- Full driving license (HGV 2 Desirable)
- FORS Practitioner - Highly Desirable
