Job Title: RF design Engineer

Location: Romsey, Hampshire

Contract: 6 months (likely extendable)

Salary: upto £ 900 per day

iO is looking for a senior RF Design Engineer who will contribute to and lead the design, development, integration and testing as required by the project within the knowledge and experience required within a Defence Project.

The person will be Produce high-quality supporting design documentation, contribute expertise across a broad range of design activities and develop innovative and cutting-edge solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Undertake engineering design and development activities in time, on budget and in quality.
• Provide timely and accurate estimates of effort to completion, assessing complexity, and identifying risks.
• Engage with other technical experts.
• Provide technical support to the Technical Lead (e.g., risk management, input to customer meetings).
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with each of the stakeholder, within or outside the project team.
• Comply with the design and development processes as directed by the Technical Lead of the project.
• Apply industry best practice for source code control, build, test/troubleshooting (debugging/fault finding), and distribution.

Skills Required:

• The RF Design Engineer has more than 10-year of experience in RF system design & development in the HF/VHF band (MHz range).
