Job description
New demand for one of our Edinburgh based clients to bring on a permanent Cloud Security Engineer to their greenfield security team. The team itself is relatively small, thus you will be working directly with the technical Head of Security in this role. As an Engineer you will be required and responsible for daily support, troubleshooting and development from everything EndPoint Detection to managing AWS platforms from a security perspective. Thus the ask is in part experience of engineering/admin within AWS, but in other part having strong Security knowledge across DLP, Vulnerability Management, CASB, and EndPoint. Top Skills;
3+ years working in a dedicated Cyber Security role within an Enterprise level organization (500+ users)
Demonstrable experience in AWS within working environments
Skills within; Incident Response, Splunk, Alert tuning, security investigations, Use case development, DLP
The skills above are an ideal, so for full specifications please apply within. This will be a permanent role which will be hybrid in Edinburgh so a willingness to travel to Edinburgh a few times a month would be great. Thus, we are looking for candidates to be Scotland based.
