Job description
Axcis Education delighted to be working with an excellent secondary school in the Wilmslow area. The school is looking for a full-time learning support assistant from after the February half-term until July 2024.
The ideal learning support assistant will have experience working with secondary aged students with additional needs. This is mixed role where the learning support assistant will work with several students throughout the working week on a 1:1, group and whole class basis. Working closely with SENDCo and the learning support department, the ideal learning support assistant will have access to additional training and resources to enhance their knowledge and skillset. This excellent secondary school is based in Wilmslow and has good transport links - and close to the M56/60. Senior Leaders have created a unique learning environment for all. SEND departments are well staffed and resourced, so each student is catered for irrespective of their starting point. Behaviour is a strength at this school, with this being highlighted in the most recent Ofsted report. This role is full-time, longer-term - and will commence after the February half-term.
