Job description
A lovely family residing in Barnet, London, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Spanish-speaking nanny to provide afterschool care for their two delightful children, aged B8 and G10 years old.
Responsibilities:
Afterschool Care: Supervise and engage with the children in a safe and nurturing manner after school hours.
Language Development: Facilitate Spanish language learning through conversation, games, and activities.
Homework Assistance: Assist with homework assignments and ensure completion.
Meal Preparation: Prepare simple and nutritious snacks/meals for the children.
Transportation: Safely transport the children to and from school or extracurricular activities, if necessary.
Light Housekeeping: Tidy up after the children and maintain cleanliness in their living and play areas.
Outdoor Activities: Plan and supervise outdoor play and recreational activities.
Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding the children's progress, activities, and any concerns that may arise.
Requirements:
Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.
Previous experience working as a nanny preferably with school-aged children.
Genuine love for working with children and a nurturing personality.
Ability to engage children in educational and recreational activities.
Confident driver with own vehicle preferred, but not essential (must have valid driver's license and clean driving record if using own vehicle).
DBS and First Aid certification.
Legal right to work in the UK.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, from school dismissal until early evening (exact hours to be discussed).
