Our client, a leading quality furniture manufacturer, is seeking a Shunter Driver with Forklift duties to join their operations in Rasharkin.
As a Shunter/Forklift Driver, you will play a critical role in the movement and organisation of our transport operations. Your primary responsibility will be to move and position trailers within our yard, in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
- Moving trailers in a loaded and unloaded state ensuring the safe movement of large vehicles and trailers around the yard
- Preparing loads & loading lorries for deliveries
- Assist with loading and unloading of trailers
- Organisation & rotation of stock
- Assist with movement of stock to aid production
- Maintaining cleanliness
- Inspecting vehicles and trailers in accordance with correct procedures
- Forklift and shunter pre work checks
- Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
- Any other reasonable task as requested by management.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence and Shunter Licence
- Previous experience as a shunter driver and forklift operative in a similar role
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced factory/warehousing/distribution environment
- Effective communication skills and teamwork
- Attention to detail
Desirable Skills
- Aisle-master/ sideloader experience
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence
