The Role of Generator Technical Supervisor/Manager:

The Generator Technical Supervisor/Manager is responsible for providing expert Technical Support to our Sales and Operations Team. With your expert knowledge and experience you will identify reliable solutions for our customers to drive the growth in sales revenue within our JP Power Operations, with consideration to efficiency and the environmental impact for both our business and the customer. Your responsibilities within this role include:

• Liaise with clients to understand requirements and ensure deadlines are met
• Design reliable, efficient solutions to our clients’ needs
• Collaborate on the development of new project and designs.
• Attend all new/variation project handovers and accept the projects from sales
• To attend site to set up power solutions to the customer spec
• Keep up to date with new technology and fleet proposals
• Check all equipment is serviced to legal standards and if necessary is Allianz compliant.
• Advanced diagnostic and faulty finding on machines
• Ability to set up synchronised / load sharing applications
• Competent on chargeable damage and warranty of products
• Mentoring and teaching JP Power staff

Are you the right person for this role?

The role of Generator Engineer a skilled managerial position, therefore the following skills/qualifications and experience are required:

• CSCS card
• At least 5 years of technical generator experience,
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management role
• Experienced with Deep Sea Genset & ATA Control
• Ability to communicate effectively with upper management or supervisor
• Qualified to SVQ level 2 & 3 or equivalent experience
• Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
• An effective communicator, specifically in explaining technical issues
• The ability to work in a busy environment
• Customer focused mindset
