Vacancy Notes: Optometrist Position
Our client is a highly reputable opticians in the UK, with over 75 years of establishment and more than 180 practices. As a company that continues to grow, they are currently seeking a full-time optometrist to work across two practices located in Haywards Heath and Tonbridge. This role offers a dynamic and ever-changing work environment, where you will play an integral part in shaping the future of the company. The client prides itself on delivering quality service and a wide range of products, and their aim is to further strengthen their position in the market in the years to come.
Responsibilities: Conduct 25-minute eye tests and perform contact lens fittings and aftercares.
Provide clinical advice and assist patients in selecting the best options for their needs.
Foster a flexible and cooperative approach, as all team members contribute across various areas of the practice.
Working Hours:
Haywards Heath: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Tonbridge: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
The specific split between the practices will be agreed upon during the interview process.
Fully qualified and registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) as an optometrist.
Up-to-date with Continuing Education and Training (CET) requirements.
This is a part-time role, ideally including Saturdays (flexibility negotiable), with no Sunday or late-night shifts.
Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience preferred, but newly qualified candidates with the right fit will also be considered.
Friendly, professional disposition, well-presented, and excellent chair-side manner.
Competitive salary of £69,000 per annum (basic) with paid fees.
