We are on an exciting journey of growth, transformation and integration developing a workforce fit to meet the demands of the future, empowering communities for adults and families. Working closely with our partners, providers and wider stakeholders, we are on a journey to develop an integrated workforce promoting and valuing the wellbeing and work life balance of its employees.
As Head of Commissioning for Health, Housing and Prevention, you will be responsible for commissioning a range of services to meet the needs of Rochdale residents both now and in the future, as well as readying the department for the upcoming CQC inspections.
You will be required to drive the implementation of commissioning strategies for health, housing and prevention, instilling our core values and by ensuring ‘people are at the heart, from the start, of every commissioning decision’. You will lead on the creation of innovative approaches to high quality, affordable and outcomes focused services. You will lead a programme of developing new accommodation for those with additional needs in borough preventing the need for people who need services having to go outside of the borough. You will develop strong relations with health colleagues working in an integrated fashion to ensure best outcomes. You will also drive the work around prevention to help prevent, reduce and delay the need for people to access traditional services, enabling people to live independently at home for as long as possible and able.
You will bring expertise and knowledge of developing and leading large scale transformational change programmes. You will be good at building relations and working collaboratively across an integrated system to achieve the best outcomes for people in Rochdale.
We are looking for someone who can bring a high level of creativity, energy and enthusiasm and be unwavering in pursuit of our ambitious goals for health and social care improvement. If you feel you can use your experience to make a real difference, we would love to hear from you!
