Job description
Simple Design Works is a well-established product design house, specialising in innovation strategy, human-centred design and new product development. They are seeking a Business Development Manager on a permanent basis to help them develop their healthcare and medical customer base locally and nationwide.
Commutable from: Worcester, Hereford, Gloucester, Evesham, Cheltenham Spa. Salary: £ 35,000 - £ 40,000 p.a. + Excellent benefits including £400 per month car allowance + 33 days annual leave and employer pension contribution. The Role .The Business Development Executive will support the business by creating new opportunities and partnerships in line with the growth strategy for the company. The main focus will be on the healthcare and medical sector locally and nationwide, whilst also targeting other relevant sectors and opportunities. You will showcase the consultancy’s’ value proposition rooted in delivering impactful innovations for business growth.
You will work with existing clients and develop new business relationships via a healthy blend of outreach activity, intelligent and solution-led marketing and being a visible entity within the local and nationwide business communities. You will attend trade shows and events, and be a competent and passionate network builder.
The Business Development Executive will use their commercial acumen to research, identify and scope out valid business opportunities, and lead with the process including quotations and pitches for projects. You will be ably supportive by a truly talented team of engineers and designers working alongside a passionate and hands-on senior leadership team.
The PersonThe Business Development Executive will already possess a level of sales and business development experience within a solution-led selling format. Well versed in demonstrating value proposition, you will be passionate about showcasing the value of innovation and have a keen interest in the latest technological developments. You will have experience within the medical products / healthcare arena with a high level of advocacy for new technology.
You will ideally have a level of technical background in some capacity and be comfortable with and happy to travel across the three counties region (Herefordshire/Worcestershire/Gloucestershire) and further afield as required. As such, a valid full driving licence is required for this position.
