Our client seeks a Group Operations Manager to join their Trade Services business. Key Responsibilities: Ensure customer service is at the highest possible level and deal with all requests and complaints in a timely, professional manner. Develop strong relationships with customers to identify sales opportunities. Manage incoming deliveries and resolve related queries. Coordinate and help with deliveries, customer collections and daily tasks. Manage all Driver hours, vehicle inspections and ensure full legal compliance in line with current legislation. Plan vehicle delivery routes and manage daily transport ensuring Operating costs are controlled. Review workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis (holiday, Saturday rota etc.)Supervise and motivate the team to achieve all branch targets (stock counting, customer deliveries etc). Maintain accurate stock records, investigating discrepancies and run system reports to maintain efficient systems in conjunction with the branch stock controller. Coordinate activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements with other departments. Ensure the tidiness and presentation of the site is maintained at all times. Responsibility for Health and Safety of the branch on a day to day basis using the Southalls system. Know and understand the quality and safety policies and demonstrate this comprehension through daily leadership and actions. Ensure tidiness and presentation of the branch are maintained at a high standard Key Skills and Experience: With an experience in operations, you will have confidence in your ability to lead the Isle of Man team. You will also display the following attributes: Operations focused. Strong customer service focus. Able to lead and manage a team. An excellent communicator with mentoring skills.
