The position
Thesuccessful candidatewillbe responsible for the ongoing development andmaintenancea globalSharePointenvironment, working alongsideM356 SME’s,colleagues,and stakeholdersacrossallRES’s markets. They willtake aleadrolein continuing thedevelopment of RES’sIT maturitythroughimplementing and developing best practices.
The successful candidate willprovidetechnicalexpertiseandperform andoversee developmentactivitiesin thedelivery of a range ofhigh-impacttechnologyprojectsacross the RESvaluestreams;development, construction,and support services,andRESsupporting functions such as Human Resources,Technical,EngineeringandFinance.

Organisational Context
Reporting to the Business Systems Manager for EMEA, the successful candidate will work as part of an international team ofSharePoint andM365SME’sand analysts.They willwork closely withcolleagues and stakeholders across multiple geographies,taking ona leadtechnicalrolewithinprojectsand DevOpsto deliver RES’s business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Provide 2nd & 3rd levelSharePointapplication support, ensuring a high quality of service.
Support and guide the continued development of the company’sSharePointplatform, providing technical insight and due diligence throughout the development cycles.
Develop and implement IT standards and best practices around application design and support.
Assist Project Managers andteammembers in thedesignand delivery of project plans.
Collaborate with counterparts from across the company and provide a leading role in technical working groups to share knowledge and best practices and contribute to the continued delivery of internal systems and tools.
Work directly with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and develop innovative solutions that address the business needs for the company.
Use RES’s service management tool, Service Now, to process our internal users’ issues and requests, as well as documenting knowledge base articles for IT staff and end-users.
Capacity and performance management and relevant reporting with recommendations to address needs.
Operational monitoring of theSharePoint andM365 platform,and key dependencies.
Work with the Global Support teams, sharing knowledge and collaborating on M365 support, ensuring a common standard.
Work with 3rd party suppliers to assist in their deployment/upgrades of their services.
Contribute to change management board around technical and process change assessing impact.
Knowledge you will need:
· Deep knowledge and experience ofSharePoint system administration.
· Good knowledgeand experience usingMicrosoft 365 technologies.
· Knowledge and experience using PowerShell and Office 365 PnP.
· Knowledge and experience using the Azure platform (incl. Azure Active Directory, Active Directory environments on-prem & hybrid configurations).
· Strong understanding of SharePoint and Information Architectures.
· Knowledge of WorkPoint, AvePoint, ShareGate, and/or SharePoint migration tools (desired).
· Service and technology management practices (incl. incident, problem and change management, configuration, release, and deployment).
Skills you will need:
· Time management skills and the ability to balance priorities.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including English Language skills at minimum CEFR C1 (C2 preferred) Risk & Issue Management.
· Ability to communicate complex issues to non-specialists.
· Analytical, with attention to detail.
· Team player and adaptable in work tasks.
· Able to come up with creative solutions using existing or new ideas in an innovative way.
· Is able to transform creative ideas into practical reality.
· Training and supporting end users and super users.
Experience you have:
· Experience working with and supporting the wider M365 platform including Yammer, Planner, Stream, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Power Platform, and EndPoint Manager.
· Team leader, SME, or similar role within an IT service operations team
· Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and operate proactively.
· Demonstrated ability to operate successfully to tight timescales.
· Experience in an IT project delivery environment and can provide insight how to improve processes.
· Experience of supporting complex systems (desired).
Qualifications you will need:
· Intermediate and/or advanced level Azure certification(s) relevant to the role
· Managing Office 365 Identities and Requirements: MS-100 (desired)
· ITIL® v3 or v4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (desired)
· Relevant degree or demonstrable on-the-job learning in lieu of this
