Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
- The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches.
- You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options.
- Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.
- For candidates with suitable experience can also take on supervisory responsibilities offering support and training where needed.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
- As a qualified Dispensing Optician within this practice you will work as one of the primary dispensers on the shop floor.
- You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general trouble shooting.
- As a member of the stores clinical team you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician
- A competitive salary package up to £32,000 dependant on your experience is on offer
- A strong bonus scheme estimating to £2000 – £4000
