3D Design Engineer

£33,000-£36,000 + Training/Handover + Holiday + Company Benefits

12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) with opportunities for permanent work upon completion

Site based, commutable from Exeter, Taunton, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Plymouth, Axminster

Are you a 3D CAD Modeller or CAD Technician looking for a fixed term contract with an industry-leading, global company, and the opportunity to engage in deeply interesting work as part of a close-knit team of technical experts?

On offer is an exciting chance to gain valuable experience working on specialist 3D modelling, for rapid prototype manufacturing and tool build, with opportunities to take on permanent work in a variety of departments if desired.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone proficient with 3D CAD to gain experience of working in a pioneering and cutting edge environment, where you will be responsible for working on 3D modelling support for the set up and running of solidification models, tool build and RP manufacture.

This role would suit a 3D CAD Technician looking for the chance to join a dynamic and exciting company in an interesting position with excellent opportunities for future development.

The Role:

• 3D CAD Modelling work
• Constructing models during new product development stage and for the process engineering team
• Preparing and writing reports

The Candidate:

• Will be proficient in 3D CAD - Solidworks/Siemens NX
• Comfortable with the interpretation and use of blueprints
• Happy to present results and action plans to the management team
