Management Accountant
Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Caerphilly
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday-Friday

BSN is now looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance Team based in Caerphilly.
Main Duties:
Reporting
- Produce accurate and timely management information, including Management Accounts. Review margins on a monthly basis.
- Ensure actual spend against budget is tracked and reported to the management teams.
- Support the Finance Controller in the production of annual budgets, and year-end returns.
- Prepare Monthly specific reports and other quarterly financial reports required by the Board and/or other related parties.
- Assist with modelling and Forecasting as required by Group.
- Assist with related special projects and perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by the Board and Senior Management team.
- Extract and manipulate large amounts of data from various sources to provide concise and accurate analysis of performance.
Compliance
- Prepare prepayments, accruals, income and child saving schedules and reconcile all control accounts.
- Manage bank reconciliations throughout the month.
- Line manage Purchase Ledger and ensure all suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed terms.
- All debtor and creditor control accounts.
- Fixed assets reconciliation.
- Monitor and control of operating leases.
- Assist with all required tax, regulatory and statutory audit filings.
- Assist statutory audit and financial audit processes.
- Maintain and develop compliance with Standard Internal Controls and Policies and procedures for internal and external audits.
What we’re looking for…
- Professional accounting qualification, preferably ACCA/CIMA.
- Experience of Access Financials.
- Ability to develop a good rapport with all levels of staff and ability to communicate, with credibility both internally and externally.
- Evidence of being able to use Microsoft Excel to manipulate large volumes of data.
- Methodical and diligent approach to working.
- Strong analytical skills
- Capable of manging multiple streams to understand the priorities within the business with the ability to be flexible as demands change
- Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Office and experience of report writing/modelling in excel.
- Care sector experience
- Payroll experience - Desirable
