We are searching for an adept Payroll Assistant to join our clients well-established finance team within the hospitality industry, based in West End London. The role requires an individual who has finance/payroll processing experience, strong data entry and excel skills, with excellent communications skills.

Description
As the Payroll Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for end-to-end monthly payroll function including ad-hoc payments and deductions in accordance with company policy in an accurate and timely manner using People XD system.
- First point of contact for all payroll related matters, providing advice and resolve issues raised by employees.
- Calculate annual leave and ensure the correct payment or accrued/ undertaken for employees exiting the business.
- Perform all reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payroll.
- Processes any loans to employee (excluding student loans)
- Generates payslips and P45/ P60's, P11D.
- Responsible for processing all employee new starters and leavers.
- Manages the collation of all payroll information and payroll MI distributing reports as required.
- Administers company auto enrolment and pension schemes.
Profile
The successful Payroll Assistant will have:
- Previous experience in UK payroll required (must be in-house payroll)
- Previous experience in hospitality is highly desirable
- Experience using payroll management system (PeopleXD)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Highly numerate with great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prepare and present financial reports
- Personable approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive can-do attitude and a proactive approach to work, you are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Offer
- £30,000 to £35,000 salary
