Job description

What you will do in your working day

• Fault find, maintain, improve and repair mechanical and/or electrical plant.
• Maintain continuity of work and information between colleagues.
• Keep drawings and Operations & Maintenance documentation up-to-date.
• Create a safe working environment by adhering to the Bank's and statutory Health and Safety requirements and codes of practices. 

The training you will be getting

Study the Building services engineering service and maintenance engineer level 3 apprenticeship as well as the Installation and maintenance electrician level 3 apprenticeship.

Please note that the training provider is based in Dagenham and that you will attend the provider’s site 2 days a week. Therefore for years 1 & 3 of your apprenticeship you will be based in Debden for 3 days per week and Dagenham for the remaining 2 days of that week. Likewise in years 2 & 4 you will be based in Threadneedle Street for 3 days per week with the remaining days in Dagenham.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Based on performance on the apprenticeship, there is a possibility of a permanent role on offer.
