Sheridan Maine is thrilled to be partnering with an esteemed Ringwood based business, known for its excellence and innovation in the industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ledger Clerk to join their team.
Responsibilities of the Senior Ledger Clerk will include:
- Assist the Ledger Supervisor by managing complex queries, providing support, and facilitating workflow optimisation within the Ledger Department.
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the finance team, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their work.
- Implement robust controls to manage data modifications, specifically concerning bank details, and uphold their effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement efficiency improvements within the ledger function.
- Responsible for the purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of invoices, expenses and payment runs.
- Assist with raising and invoices and direct debit plans.
- Assist with daily banking routine where required.
The successful Senior Ledger Clerk will possess:- Experience in the property management sector is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
- Educated to A-level standard.
