As our Vehicle Research Coordinator, you will be motivated by the prospect of establishing relationships with a vast range of different automotive manufacturers, representing our studio and project, and opening doors to some of the most exciting machines ever built. A strong eye for detail will be essential, systematically obtaining several thousand images of each vehicle, backed by clear documentation, and then presented to the department. We want to see your passion for vehicles, and your interest in photography will allow you to generate all the essential data needed by our art teams to create our game.
Key Duties Include
- Organising and undertaking research trips including photoshoots and 3D scans
- Establishing new relationships for sourcing vehicles as a presentative for our studio by email, phone, or video call
- Photography with full frame mirrorless camera
- Engaging with vehicle manufacturers to acquire appropriate CAD and Paint reference
- Undertake and post process photoshoots to the department standard
- Collate marketing materials signed off by our Art Directors
- Identify key talking points for studio wide presentations
- Support our team’s evolving requirements throughout the project
- Work with department leadership to keep on top of schedule, identify risks and discuss mitigations: Research, Documentation and Curation
- Presentation preparation and delivery
- Risk assessments – Able to assess sites for suitable and safe work
Requirements
- Active interest in Automotive including Motorsport
- Up-to-date Passport and Driving License
- Willingness to engage in national and international travel, independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with advanced reporting skills in Excel
- A systematic and thorough approach to tasks
- Basic understanding of asset creation in games
- Confident when using a camera
Desirable
- LiDAR scanning and data processing
- Adobe Photoshop, or the ability to quickly pick up new software
- Confident and effective communicator
- Meticulous eye for detail
