Tolerance Lead Engineer
Location: Derby
Duration: 12 months
Start Date: ASAP
OUTSIDE IR35
A client based in Derby is looking for Tolerance Lead Engineer. This would be for an initial 12-month contract.
• Train and car level geometrical performances (final customer requirements, functional requirement, assemblability)
• Specify tolerances so that the trainset respects infrastructure constraints, and the cars respect trainset constraints
• Clarify with Method the assembly process involved with critical characteristic.
• Provide stack-up calculations to justify achievement with the needed tolerances linked to functional requirements DMTR, layout verification, AD1 definition, interface documentation & specification
• The enhancement of knowledge (tolerancing standard language, isostatism definition, assy loop, cascade of requirement)
• The constitution of ready to use templates (tolerancing processes, stack up, pattern hole calculation, isostatism & interfaces)The end to end critical characteristic process
• DMTR, layout verification, AD1 definition, interface documentation & specification
• The enhancement of knowledge (tolerancing standard language, isostatism definition, assy loop, cascade of requirement)
