Job description

I am a young gentleman living in the Solihull area who need a Male Personal Care Assistant to support me with general domestic tasks and social and leisure activities.

Hours:

12 hours per week. Days and times to be agreed with the employer.

Rate of pay:

The rate of pay is £11.15 per hour.

Duties:

To provide support with daily domestic tasks and accessing social/leisure activities including:

Going for coffee/meals

Going to the cinema

Shopping

Any other meaningful activities

Personal attributes:

Caring attitude

Understanding compassionate

Ability to communicate effectively

Empathy

Flexibility

Experience:

Possession of a Health and Social Care qualification

Previous experience working with clients in their own home

Working in a 1-1 setting with clients

Experience in delivering person centred support

Applicants must have a full valid driver's license and access to a vehicle which is fully insured.

Successful applicants will be subjected to an enhanced DBS check which will be paid for by the employer.
