Job description
We're looking for QA Automation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in elevating the quality of our SaaS product, Omniplex Guide.
Omniplex Guide is a SaaS platform helping businesses make guided walkthroughs to show users the most important processes they need to know. Founded out of our consulting experience, where we watched companies build great products and then fail to educate customers on how to use them.
About You
A seasoned QA professional, you'll have a systematic approach to work, an eye for detail, and a keen interest in product excellence. The successful candidate will have:
- Proficiency in JavaScript programming, with a solid understanding of how websites are built including CSS and HTML.
- Proven experience in setting up automated test frameworks for web applications, with hands-on experience in tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with different stakeholders including various departments and clients, especially in debugging technical issues.
- A quick learning ability, being able to adapt to a rapidly changing product and environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
About The Role
This role requires orchestrating the establishment of our automated testing infrastructure and processes, as well as creating and maintaining automated test suites to support a high-standard product lifecycle.
- Establish our automated testing infrastructure and processes, setting a new standard in product quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using various frameworks.
- Diagnose issues with the application and enhance test coverage to ensure comprehensive checks.
- Work closely with the development team, clients, and other key stakeholders to debug and resolve bugs, while guiding on optimal usage of the product.
- Continually stay updated with our fast-moving product, adapting to changes in features and business requirements.
- Strive to become a product expert and guide/train others on the product, diving into the dev console to debug complex issues as needed.
