The School of Computing is seeking to appoint a lecturer who is committed to excellence in teaching and research to complement the School's existing research strengths in Artificial Intelligence or Data Science.

In this role, you will be required to teach at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to make a significant contribution to the School’s high level of student engagement.

The appointee will be part of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics research group. The AIDA group has ongoing research activities in machine learning (including natural language processing), robotics and applied data science. A particular characteristic of the group is an extensive engagement with industry and other external stakeholders to solve real world problems, especially related to healthcare and ageing using state of the art AI and Data Science.
