Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Plymouth, Devon

The Client:
Our client is a well-established construction consultancy, offering design and management services across the Built Environment.
The Role:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will collaborate within a robust QS team and reporting to the Associate QS.
Please do not apply if you do not have at least 4 years of experience working in the UK.
Responsibilities:
? Independently manage key local commissions.
? Prepare cost advice aligned with RICS guidance notes.
? Contribute to design team meetings by providing reports and client advice.
? Conduct quality checks on junior team members.
? Implement document management in adherence to QA procedures.
? Develop and administer tender documentation and processes.
? Draft contracts and manage post-contract cost.
? Generate valuations for progress payments.
? Create post-contract cost reports.
? Prepare final accounts.
? Attend and chair site meetings.
Requirements:
? Previously worked as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.
? Chartered status or possess relevant experience.
? Demonstrate an understanding of the commercial aspects of construction.
? Valid UK driving licence.
