We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity in the East Locality Adult Teams of Middlesbrough. As part of our ongoing development of adult services we are looking to recruit a Principal Practitioner on a permanent contract.

We are looking for a motivated individual who is adaptable change and who can support the Team Manager to ensure that the team delivers an effective social work service, which meets the needs of adults and their carers, whilst maintaining standards against our policies and procedures.
The Principal Practitioner will be responsible for:
Undertaking supervision meetings.
Supporting the day-to-day running of the team: offering advice and guidance and supporting with case allocations, support plan approvals and case closures.
Ensuring that the team meet performance and recording standards.
Deputising in the absence of the Team Manager.
Managing a small caseload of complex cases.
