About Our Client

This Ipswich based Financial services firm have a great national presence with a supportive senior management team who foster a culture of ownership and empowering staff to drive decision making at all levels. The Compliance Manager role aims to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, minimise compliance risk, and provide senior management with relevant information. The job holder is responsible for designing and delivering the annual compliance monitoring plan, executing compliance reviews, and producing compliance reports.

• Monitor adherence to policies and regulations
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations
• Provide management with adequate and relevant information

Job Description

Compliance Manager Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Execute compliance monitoring reviews
• Ensure compliance monitoring plan remains fit for purpose
• Produce compliance monitoring management information
• Own and execute reviews on Compliance Obligations Register
• Track remediation activities
• Complete compliance monitoring reports
• Maintain audit trails and methodology
• Assist in producing compliance reports
• Input into design and development of Annual Compliance Plan
• Develop relationships with stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

Compliance Manager Experience and Personal Attributes:

• Strong understanding of regulatory codes of conduct
• Good understanding and experience of key credit servicing and banking processes
• Analytical approach
• Good organisational skills
• Clear and concise communication
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders
• Risk awareness and integrity
