Job description

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is currently seeking a Care Assistant to provide clinical care and support to a young Male client in the Redcar Area. Our Patient is a 22-year-old male with acquired Brain Injury, spinal injury & Autism. Excellent interpersonal skills, resiliency and an eagerness to make a real difference in someone's life are all key to being successful in this role.

Hourly Rate: £10.50 - £12 per hour (will increase on completion of compentencies)

Location: Redcar

Shift Patterns: Day Shifts 08:00 - 20:00

Night Shifts 20:00 - 08:00

Driver - Essential

Contract: Full Time or Part Time

Speciality: Complex Care

Covid-19: PPE provided and weekly Covid Testing

This is a fantastic opportunity for care professionals with an interest in specific complex conditions who want to develop their skills and knowledge whilst gaining experience.

Theory and practical training will be provided to ensure you have the correct skills to support this individual. This will give you the opportunity to learn new skills, develop your career as a Complex Care Health Care Assistant.

Requirements of the Health Care Assistant role:

• Able to work 12 hour shifts
• Able to support in Moving and Handling
• Able to support in Personal Care
• Able to engage in outdoor activities.
• Supporting and maintaining all clinical needs
