RECRUITING NOW: Purchase Ledger Clerks to join our highly successful Finance department.
Salary: £24,000.00 per year.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday, 09:00 until 17:30 and Friday, 09:00 until 16:00.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the procure-to-pay process in the business.
- Ensuring all purchase invoices are matched correctly with purchase orders and goods-received notes, and sending relevant invoices for authorisation to managers.
- Keeping Xero up-to-date with all purchase invoices and credit note entries.
- Regularly check credit card statements against receipts, dealing with queries and escalating discrepancies to the Finance Manager.
- Adding new supplier accounts on Xero and maintaining existing accounts ensuring the information on the system is correct and up-to-date.
- Maintaining cash books for the purchase ledger, confirming that all payments from the bank statements are posted onto Xero daily.
- Preparing the BACS run each week, ensuring payments are made to the terms agreed with suppliers.
- Preparing remittances for all supplier payments.
- Prepare purchase accruals listings for month-end processing to include all invoices and delivery notes which have not been processed.
- Carry out any other relevant duties as and when required.
- Assisting the Finance department with general admin duties and answering telephone calls.
Requirements:
- Purchase ledger experience, within a medium to large company.
- Previous experience using IT account systems is essential.
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly organised.
