Salary: £30,000-£35,000 DOE.

About the Job:

As the Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in the finance team, managing our financial timesheet software, expense, and invoice processing. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to develop our financial processes and approach. The Financial Assistant will be a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Where a level of certification/ qualification would be desirable for the successful candidate, we are committed to developing our people at CloudKubed and would provide training and study support, for the successful candidate to become CIMA / ACCA qualified or equivalent.

We offer a hybrid working model at CloudKubed, with the successful candidate able to work from home, 1-2 days per week.

Day to Day Activities:

Sales:

• Oversight of sales invoices in coordination with the operations team. Ensuring all sales invoices are recorded accurately in the system.

Purchases:

• Logging, entering, and ensuring expenses claims and payments are appropriately approved in line with company policy.

Support:

• You’ll act as the first point of contact for all payment queries.

Timesheets:

• Manage the accuracy of project time recording in Harvest (Timesheet software)

Records and Reporting:

• Preparation of all monthly bank and credit card accounts reconciliation, Manage Debtor, and credit control accounts in the balance sheet.

• Management of the finance email accounts and document libraries.
• Assist the Finance Manager in managing external stakeholders & partners.
• Collation of company reporting requirements inline with our ambitious ESG commitments.

Requirements

• Experience of accounting software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Attention to detail with the ability to prepare concise summaries of information.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills
