Role Purpose:
- Develop, champion and support delivery of key initiatives across the Retail Channel to continually improve retail execution, in line with annual planning.
- Support achievement of Sales and Good Causes budget by ensuring the Retail Team develop, execute and deliver retail and marketing plans effectively.
This role is offered on a 6 month fixed-term contract. We offer hybrid working with an expectation that the successful candidate will be in our Watford HQ office twice a week.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support improving Retail Channel capabilities, processes, and tools.
- Manage third party supplier relationships with the Retail Operations Manager for CACI, Shepper, Powerforce and Zaptic
- Build and deliver Quarterly journey plans for the Retail Sales Team with CACI
- Support development of ways to deliver great in store execution of the National Lottery within customers.
- Provide weekly updates to the Retail Sales Management team and maintain key retail processes to ensure the field team can meet KPI deliverables.
- Support the Retail Operations Manager to shape and implement the overall retail strategy and prioritise activities for all Retail teams.
- Monitor and action any new requests for the Retail Strategy & Operations team via the front door document.
- Support building quarterly Dynamic Risk Intervention (DRI) plans.
- Ensure timely reporting and call file creation via Shepper dashboards and the Retail Sales Managers (RSMs).
- Work with the data team on ensuring Return On Investment for Dynamic Risk Intervention (DRI) and Powerforce activity.
- Support the building of yearly and quarterly Dynamic Risk Intervention (DRI) and visit support through Shepper and Powerforce.
- Maintain auditable processes with all suppliers including monthly meetings and actions.
- Support the supplier relationship and day to day issue resolution for Zaptic.
- Support the building of decks and documents to cascade information to retail functions through their team meetings and regular workgroups such as Retail Leadership Governance Meeting.
Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of sales impact analysis and achievement of Return On Investment (ROI)
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of retail execution including brand activation.
- Experience and knowledge of successful selling and influencing skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to articulate and present with impact to senior colleagues.
- Skilled in prioritisation and multi-task management under pressure.
- Ability to understand key business operational reporting.
- Previous experience of developing and managing business processes preferrable.
- Advanced ability to use the Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite and Zaptic.

As part of our onboarding processes, all successful candidates will need to complete both a Pre-Employment Screening process and a Fit & Proper check by the Gambling Commission. These checks include a DBS (an enhanced check, which shows convictions and conditional cautions), credit and social media checks. As part of our application process, you will be asked to identify in advance if you have spent or unspent convictions that we need to be aware of.
Should you not disclose convictions at the application stage, not pass the Fit & Proper Check process or not complete your Pre-Employment Screening then unfortunately you may not pass our probation process.
