SGS are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our information technology infrastructure, managing the IT team, and ensuring our systems and applications are robust and reliable.
Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain our company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks
- Manage and motivate a team of IT professionals, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to succeed
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve our business processes and enhance our productivity
- Identify and manage IT risks and issues, and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR and ISO 27001
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT-related business needs and opportunities
- Manage the IT budget and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers
Requirements - Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role in an SME environment
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Experience in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures
- Knowledge of data protection and information security regulations, such as GDPR and ISO 27001
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers
