Job description
Themis Recruit is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer around the Greater Merseyside area. The role will consist of dealing with a caseload in the region of 30 cases of the sales and purchase of Residential Property from initiation to completion. The role will also include handling a caseload of both Leasehold and Freehold Property New build and Remortgages. The ideal candidate will have 2 years PQE however previous experience will be considered.
- Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters ensuring transactions progress smoothly from inception to completion.
- Conduct thorough title checks property searches and due diligence to identify potential issues and mitigate risks.
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts leases and transfer deeds with a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain effective communication with clients solicitors estate agents and other stakeholders to provide updates address queries and ensure a positive client experience.
- Handle postcompletion tasks including registrations and stamp duty submissions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Stay informed about changes in property law regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge contribute to process improvements and foster a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- A solid understanding of residential conveyancing processes and relevant legal frameworks.
- Previous experience in a conveyancing role.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a caseload effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using case management systems and legal software.
- Detailoriented and committed to delivering highquality work.
- Proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
