Fundraising Support Executive

Salary from £40,229 to £48,456 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £52,095 pa inclusive of London allowance

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social science universities in the world. Based in central London with a global reach, we develop the people and ideas that shape the world. The Philanthropy and Global Engagement Division (PAGE) is integral to LSE’s capacity to realise our strategic direction through engaging with alumni and friends, staff and students, volunteers, organisations, and the wider community to increase philanthropic income for agreed School priorities.

The Fundraising Support Executive is responsible for delivering high-quality and proactive funding acceptance services and provides specialist advice to PAGE Income Generating Teams in structuring, costing and managing proposals and funding agreements. The role works closely with colleagues across the School to obtain appropriate levels of checks and approvals required for external funding, ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and maintain a smooth flow of operations.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of working in a role involving fundraising operations, funding acceptance, compliance or risk management Higher Education, not-for-profit, or comparable sector; evidence of excellent communication skills and attention to detail; ability to analyse and proofread documentation to verify it against guidelines, policies, and procedures, outstanding organisational skills to manage a varied workload and respond to competing deadlines and priorities, ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues of all levels of seniority.
