About the Role:

As Head of Science, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of science education at Aylesbury UTC. You will:

• Lead a dedicated team of science teachers, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
• Oversee the development and delivery of engaging and challenging science curriculum aligned with GCSE, T level and A Level requirements.
• Foster a love of learning for science, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Build strong relationships with industry partners, integrating real-world applications into classroom learning.
• Contribute to the strategic development of the science department, ensuring its alignment with the school's vision and values.
