Job description

This exciting opportunity has been created for Service Analyst to join our team.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement of all central IT hardware for the Wincanton business units.

This is a Mon- Fri role, hybrid .

How will you contribute?

• Maintaining Oracle Catalogue with correct pricing and descriptions.
• As products are introduced to ITaaS (DaaS) ensure order process followed for any items that qualify, liaise with supplier/s and any necessary data capture.
• Create and maintain all information relevant to ensure cross charging of items to the correct profit centres.
• Create monthly report to for cross charging of IT equipment to IT Commercial.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the procurement process.
• Manage Stock cupboard.
• With ITaaS (DaaS) manage any equipment at HO that could be re-used, ensuring its support is still active and device meets all requirements.
• Manage Stock cupboard with Winsight and Oracle Access Devices
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure items are delivered within timescales i.e. tracking outstanding orders.
• Managing the IT.Procurement mailbox and action or forward queries accordingly.
• Action Service Now tickets.
• Document processes involved in the role so they can be used for cross training.
• Ensure processes are kept up to date.
• Cross training within team be able to provide holiday/absence cover.
• Support our Managed Print Service with queries, escalated issues, and new/replacement device requests.
• Request quotes from suppliers as required.
• Review EE Bill every month and update EE with correct usernames and Profit centres and work with EE on cost saving exercises.
• Manage an active auditing process for EE devices and work with Operations for accurate assignment of devices.
• Be a “Superuser” for IT for the procurement system and provide training and support when required.

• Ability to produce written responses to enquires in a well-structured and grammatically correct manner.
• Computer literate with a knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

• The ability to work on own initiative and “think outside the box”.
• Where possible, highlight cost savings.
• Adhere to the Wincanton policies and processes.
