Job description

A family in Alton is hiring a Part-time Nanny Housekeeper to take attentive care of their charming school-aged child on a permanent role basis. They ideally need someone organised and hardworking who takes initiative with all general housekeeping duties. The family already has a cleaner so the role is more childcare-oriented and keeps on top of basic housekeeping. A driver who holds a full driving license is required for this role. Someone who speaks French, Finnish, Norwegian, Spanish, and Swedish languages would be advantageous. A valid first aid qualification is essential.

Working hours: 2 days per week from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, approximately 18-20 hours per week, plus occasional babysitting

Duties include:

load and unload the dishwasher
change the bed sheets
organise and maintain their wardrobes
hoover and mop the floors
clean the bathroom sinks and mirrors
fold away ironed clothes
arranging day trips
playing both fun and educational games
preparing meals and snacks
helping the child with homework
reading stories together
taking their child to the local park for a runaround
doing arts and crafts together
