Key Responsibilities: Position Overview: Our client is seeking a
Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join their team. Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our people-related initiatives align with legal requirements and support staff engagement. This is a
temporary position until September 2024 on FTC.
- Expert Guidance: Provide specialised expertise and guidance on employee relations matters, including restructures, TUPE processes, and change programs. Identify potential risks and offer mitigation options to enable informed decision-making by managers.
- Complex Case Management: Handle a diverse employee relations case load, addressing complex queries related to sickness absence, disciplinary issues, grievances, bullying, harassment, and capability. Collaborate proactively with managers to propose effective outcomes and risk management.
- People Projects: Support and manage people-related projects, such as implementing employment law changes, revising terms and conditions, and enhancing benefits. Develop policies, flowcharts, templates, and best practice guidelines.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, credible relationships across designated areas. Be a trusted advisor to colleagues, providing valuable insights and support.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Proven experience in employee relations, including handling complex cases.
- Knowledge of employment law and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
- Hybrid working arrangement: 1 day in the office/services per week.

Salary: The salary for this role is circa £45,000 per annum on an FTC
