Job description
Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer required to join a designer and manufacturer of advanced technologies primarily going into the automotive industry but also has aerospace applications based in Bedford
The successful
Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer will work within the ISO 9001 environment and have previous experience in a similar role.
Package Up to £40k depending on experience

Role Determining manufacturing methods and establishing operational standard times for new products.
Producing and updating CNC programs using CAM systems, along with associated setup sheets and tooling lists.
Researching and evaluating new machine tools, cutting tools, and processes to enhance production efficiency.
Preparing justifications for capital equipment investments and coordinating sub-contract sources.
Providing training and support to engineers, operators, and apprentices.
Participating in cross-functional project teams to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Recommending changes to improve productivity and examining other production-related activities.
Requirements Previous experience working in a similar position - Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer
Proficiency in working with engineering drawings at ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Demonstrable knowledge of metal cutting, turning, milling, and drilling processes.
Competence in programming CNC machine tools using CAM systems.
Experience in process planning and optimizing manufacturing processes.
Commutable to Bedford
