Cuckoo have been on quite a journey under Fern Trading Group, with our aim being simple – to be the best and most trusted ISP, working to disrupt the UK broadband market by prioritising service and customer experience. We have got off to a great start, having been voted the UK’s best broadband provider for customer service twice!
This year our journey continues and in a big way – in February 2023 Fern Trading announced the consolidation of Cuckoo, Giganet, Jurassic Fibre, Swish Fibre , and AllPoints Fibre into a single Fibre To The Premises (FTTP) operating entity to accelerate full-fibre delivery in the UK. The unification of these businesses will enable us to combine resources, knowledge and expertise to hasten and grow full fibre network access across the UK.
Now, by combining our regional operations, we are building a national ISP alongside a national wholesale network that can serve millions and achieve our new joint mission to be the UK’s most recommended way to connect.
More about this role:
Each day you'll be:
- You will be making outbound calls and must be comfortable speaking to potential or existing customers to let them know about our products and services and be friendly and approachable whilst you do this, answering any questions about our products and offers
- When a customer decides to join us, you will process their order and ensure all their details are captured correctly and ensure they have signed up for a package that best suits their needs
- You will be working closely with the wider sales team to develop the new customer pipeline and ensure our customers are looked after seamlessly
- As our product offers change you will work with your manager to ensure you know each product inside out so that you can always ensure you are knowledgeable for customers
You should apply if:
- Have outbound sales experience
- Have previous experience of working in a customer service, sales or telesales operation
- Are experienced and focused on delivering great customer service
- Have experience working with customer management systems along with Microsoft office
- Are a good communicator and enjoy talking to and listening to customers, ensuring attention to detail with the ability to handle and overcome objections from customers
- Are able to take feedback and be committed to working on your personal development
It would be great if you could also:
- Experience within the Telecoms industry desirable, but not essential
