A family run firm, operating in the region for well over 50 years now. This practice prides themselves on the service provided to a mixed client base, some of which have been with the firm from the first day.
Job Description
- Preparation of sole trade, partnership and limited companies accounts from clients record stage to completion stage
- Monthly/quarterly management accounts preparation and discussion with the client
- Building client relationships both virtually and face to face to develop their own portfolio
- Assisting with training and monitoring of junior members of staff
- Tax planning for both companies and sole trader perspectives
- VAT and accounting queries from clients (No VAT preparation involved)
- Assisting on statutory audits and Solicitors Accounts Rules
The Successful Applicant
- ACA / ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with Sage, IRIS, Microsoft Office
