Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage all aspects of the assigned project section, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that construction activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, providing proactive solutions to keep the project on track.
Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication channels with the project management team, clients, and stakeholders.
Health and Safety: Prioritise and enforce health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety throughout the project.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of project progress, variations, and any issues that may arise, ensuring compliance with company and client procedures.
Qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Sub Agent on large-scale civil engineering projects, preferably within the rail or infrastructure sector.
Strong understanding of HS2 project requirements and standards.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of construction health and safety regulations.
