Pastry Chef, EC1 London, £31,500 Recruiting for a passionate and food driven Pastry Chef to join our clients' team based in The City of London. The site has a high volume staff restaurant offering a breakfast, lunch and evening service, as well as extensive hospitality including PDR, fine dining, canapé functions, events and buffets All food across both departments is freshly prepared using high quality ingredients and produce. As the Pastry Chef, you will be producing items for both the hospitality and fine dining department as well as the staff dining (cakes and bakes). You will work closely with the team to produce exceptional food using high quality, seasonal ingredients. You will need to be extremely food driven with an excellent eye for detail and presentation. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Our ideal candidate would be - a strong Pastry Chef level with a proven career history - experienced within corporate catering, fine dining restaurant, hotel or a similar environment - exceptionally skilled in pastry - able to work as part of a team as well as use initiative - passionate about food and ingredients as well as up to date with trends and concepts - attentive to detail and presentation with flair and creativity - strong in communication and organizational skills - flexible and willing with a positive can do attitude Interested?
