Exams Officer
Required as soon as possible, permanentGrade: 7 SCP 21 - 25Actual salary £18,789 - £20,691Average of 25 hours a week plus 2 weeks in the summer holidays for exam results in August = 41 weeks worked. These hours are flexible but there is a requirement to increase the number of hours / days worked through the year and for full-time hours to be worked in the summer term leading up to and during examinations.We have an exciting opportunity for an Exams Officer to join Denmark Road High School (DRHS). We are looking for an empathetic and welcoming individual who can apply attention to detail and be proactive in their role. We want someone who believes wholeheartedly in our vision, understands their place in fulfilling it, and is committed to delivering Denmark Road 365. In order to achieve our aims our support staff team are integral to our success. The role will be suited to someone who is highly organised, with excellent attention to detail, and who has experience of working in a busy office environment. Experience of working in a school or college environment is desirable.
The ideal candidate will:
 Comply with Safeguarding, Child Protection and Data Protection practices;
 Be discrete and have a proven ability to manage confidentiality;
 Have the ability to highlight concerns and make difficult decisions;
 Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Apply attention to detail with high levels of accuracy;
 Have a good standard of general education to include GCSEs at grades 9-4, or equivalent, in English and Maths.
