Principal Consultant - Civil/Structural Design

Lead a team as a Principal / Senior Structural Engineer at a Privately Owned Firm, guiding precision and innovation in the creation of resilient designs for a sustainable future in Manchester. In this role, you'll be managing and leading a variety of projects, including social housing, multi-storey apartments, industrial sheds, and luxurious mansions. The Role

• Manage and deliver projects within deadlines, quality standards, and budgets.
  Support and assist director(s).
• Utilise relevant software such as Tedds, Structural Designer and FastTrack Connections to produce structural designs.
  Prepare reports and liaise with architect, authorities and clients.
• Mentor staff and ensure junior engineers are supported for their training requirements for Chartership.

The Requirements:

• Honour's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered Engineer or soon to be Chartered
• Experienced in delivering Structural Design Projects
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tedds, Structural Designer, ETABS, SAP2000) and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards).
